This is my third summary I have completed; in this particular review I am reflecting on the large-scale painting I have produced on cardboard. The reason I have begun to reflect on this piece of work is because of its significance to my project so far, it has not only been a visually effective composition, I has been a form of inspiration that I have drawn ideas out of in order to progresses certain concepts forward in a more effective manner.
This piece has also pushed me outside of my comfort zone due to the scale of the painting, using paint as my medium and the complexity of the composition. I have also decided after completing majority of this piece to simplify the composition in order to make it more effective when an audience is viewing it, which I did by eliminating some of the imagery and replacing it with a block colour background.
