I have completed this sheet as part of my studio practice module, it demonstrates two things; firstly a statement I have prepared to go into this years exhibition catalogue, the second section explains how I wish my final digital drawing series to be presented virtually as well as physically, if we get this opportunity in the future.
Not only does this document include two statement it has an image attached which will accompany my writing in the exhibition catalogue. This section was hard to complete as you can only choose one image to represent your creative practice, meaning I had to really consider and analyse not only what I believe is successful but what others may consider visually appealing and highly complex as well as conceptually interesting.
After analysing a range of physical work I decided to choose the image below, I chose this drawing/print due to the highly complex nature of the drawn mechanical section that is the focal point of this composition, not only this but it is a piece that is visually intriguing and distorting in many way, as it is meant to signify a specific aspect and memory within my life but others can interpret this composition in multiple ways allowing them to become part of the experience.
Another deciding factor was the opinions of my family, friends and tutors this is something I took on board when making my decision, as I not only want to be proud of the work I have chosen to present but I want others to be fascinated, captivated and almost perplexed by the imagery contained within the digital print.
