In relations to my aspirations of teaching in the future, I have actually learnt skills that I could apply to teaching through working and helping people on my course. I say this as Covid-19 has become a learning curve for everyone and some people are less technologically minded that myself because of this I have helped others on my course with areas such as uploading work onto different platforms, I helped to originally set up their blogs and how to navigate through different websites as well as informing them on deadlines and what needs to be handed in etc... Through helping others I have learnt to explain things in a clear concise manner that others are able to understand and follow, not only this but I have learnt that I care about how other achieve their goals as well as me achieving my own aspirations this is a quality that I have seen repeatedly in some my teachers and tutors and those are the ones that I believe get the best results out of their students.
Beyond teaching I have also considered the possibility of working in a tattoo shop, this links much more to my visual work as I have to create things that aren't only conceptually interesting and intriguing I have to consider aesthetics not only within the fine art world, were they can be less important but within the tattooing industry designs have to be visually pleasing. Once I had consider the aesthetics of my work in relation to this industry I also have to think about what process and skills they would look for in an upcoming artist.
