This was an experimental piece that I decided to see what effect prismacolor pencils would have on black paper. I decided to use black paper in order to see if colour would significantly stand out on a darker background and I believe the white and greys really pop compared to this image being produced on white paper.
I produced this piece of work in order to incorporate it as part of my personal collage, it has been a significantly meaningful quote in my life from my early teenage years. Overall I believe this piece is highly successful and I could produce more of these compositions of black paper, with different imagery and colours etc...
