This section discusses how I took part in an interim exhibition as part of my studio practice in order to not only obtain 15% of my studio practice module marks, it was also a valuable experience in order to gain constructive criticism and a deeper insight into how others view my creative work.
Below are some examples of how I set up my space within the studio to present a selection of my work.

I believe this experience has taught me how to present and explain my work to a range of people, it has also made me look closer at the links between each one of my pieces and how one process has lead me to another. This is something as an artists we all struggle to see as it almost becomes an instinct when creating, we just create on thing which sparks an idea for the next without neseccarly analysing the thought in the moment. Therefore, this interview allowed me to reflect on area that I hadn't previously considered and it enabled me to elaborate on areas that may of been unclear to my tutors before this miniature exhibition.
Ultimately a received a range of good feedback from both Tom and Maxine who expressed that I clearly and enthusiastically expressed my motives behind each piece of work, as well as mentioned key artists that have straightened and inspired my creative journey thus far. I am really pleased with my feedback and am eager to take the skills I have learnt in this interview process into future interviews whether it be within university or in the outside creative industry.
